# Release Alchemy deploy lease

**DELETE** `/v1/projects/{projectId}/branches/{branchId}/alchemy-state/lease`

Releases the deploy lease addressed by the Alchemy-State-Lease-Id header on clean deploy exit. A missing, replaced, or expired lease returns 404 — a lost lease at release time is surfaced, not idempotently swallowed.
