# Update app

**PATCH** `/v1/apps/{appId}`

Updates the display name, logical id, or branch of an app. `logicalId` cannot be combined with `branchId` or `branchGitName` in one request; move the app first, then set its `logicalId`.

Any ONE of the following options authorizes this operation; every scheme listed within an option is required together.
