# Create database connection string

**POST** `/v1/databases/{databaseId}/connections`

Creates a new connection string for the given database.

Base URL: `https://api.prisma.io`

Tags: `Databases Connections`

## Authorization

Any ONE of the following options authorizes this operation; every scheme listed within an option is required together.
